The 43rd Separate Mechanized Brigade (Ukrainian: 43 окрема механізована бригада) is a brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces formed in 2023 on the basis of a mechanized battalion from 93rd Mechanized Brigade. The brigade is currently equipped with T-64BVs, BMP-1s, M113s and 2S1 Gvozdikas.
History
The brigade is at the stage of formation as of April 2023.[1] The brigade has also notably been providing humanitarian aid to Ukrainian civilians[2] The brigade has been involved in the 2023 Ukrainian counteroffensive[3]
