Daniel McClellan is an American social media personality and theological scholar.[1]

He is also known for his TikTok videos about early church history and linguistics.[2] He started the channel in 2021 for the purpose of responding to misinformation about the Bible and Christianity.[1]

McClellan was the winner of the Society of Biblical Literature's 2023 Richards Award for Public Scholarship.[3]

Education

He received a PhD from the University of Exeter, where he wrote a dissertation under the supervision of Francesca Stavrakopoulou. His formal academic areas of expertise include cognitive linguistics and the cognitive science of religion.[4]
