Electronic City is an upcoming elevated metro station on the Yellow Line of the Namma Metro in southern Bengaluru, India, being built to serve the Information technology hub in Anekal suburb. This will be the first metro station in the Namma Metro network to feature Platform screen doors (PSDs).[1] Alongside the metro station is the Electronic City Elevated Expressway connecting Central Silk Board to Electronic City, including the Infosys campus and Wipro Floating Learning Centre. To the north, the Yellow Line will lead to Konappana Agrahara and to the south to Bommasandra, Attibele and Hosur, an industrial city in Tamil Nadu.
As per latest reports, this metro station is stated to be operational post May 2024 due to the upcoming Indian general election which will occur during April-May 2024.[2][3][4][5]
