Synopsis

A man is cursed with lure while a woman is blessed with control. This is a time-tested universal truth which continues to be the same in the 20th-century as well. Dr. Madhukar Hirve (Mohan Joshi), also known as Madhu, is a well-known surgeon in Pune, who is living a happy married life with Seema (Neena Kulkarni), a responsible, clever and mature homemaker. Seema is a simple, god-fearing, perfect stereotype of a good Indian wife. Madhu's anesthetist colleague, Dr. Dinesh Kirtikar (Prashant Damle), is a bachelor with a good sense of humour. Soon, the beautiful Dr. Beena Karnik (Varsha Usgaonkar) joins as Madhu's personal assistant at his hospital, and Madhu is instantly attracted to Beena. Dinesh is also trying his luck with Beena, but she eventually gives in to Madhu's advances. After realising Madhu's progress in his extramarital affair, Seema cooks up a plan. She brings Beena home as her husband's second wife and showers her love and affection on Beena while teaching Madhu a lesson. Will she be able to make her husband realise his mistake with her humble ways?
