Yomi Awoniyi (born 4 September 1960)[1] is a Nigerian politician. He was the deputy of Idris Wada, governor of Kogi State between 2011 and 2015.[2][3][4] He is the son of former senator Sunday Awoniyi.[5]
In 2023 he changed allegiance from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.[6][7][2][8]
